In the Spring of 2008, Indus Heritage organized a fashion show featuring top Pakistani fashion designers and models. ZoomDish, my employer at the time, covered the event for TV broadcast. As Technical Director, I was entrusted to prep the three-camera shoot with switcher. The day before the event, the producer and I recorded interviews with the principals to incorporate into the TV special. I set up the lighting and manned one of the cameras during the actual fashion show itself. I edited hours of footage into a fast-paced, 56-minute special in two weeks. The show was edited very MTV-style, utilizing secondary shaky cameras for interviews and liberal use of flashy effects and musical montages. This four-minute promo is a glimpse into the hour-long show.
